Inspired by Flint pediatrician, activist, and author Dr. Mona Hanna- Attisha’s visit to OCC, the OCC Libraries are collecting NEW children’s books suitable for infants through age 5.
Book donations will be given to the Flint and Genesee Literacy Network, a non-profit organization that supports early literacy initiatives.
Early literacy is important for brain development and strengthening reading skills that contribute to success.
Drop off your donation of a NEW children’s book at any OCC Campus Library through December 16th.
